Is Anti Corruption Cell a MOCK to the Public
Is Anti Corruption Cell a MOCK to the Public
With trust in the newly formed N Biren led BJP Government, the people of Manipur looked into a new hope of a developed and corruption free State.
The Anti Corruption Cell, well set up in the Office of the Chief Minister seems rather a planning unit to cover up certain clues and mocking the Public. Since inception, the Cell has recorded more than 500 complains and has screened each one of them. Thanks to the Officials that many a VDF and Under Ranked Officials being suspended or terminated from their duty. But what about the major role-playing, out of the field players who take part make the worst out of this Cell. Certain Complains made over the Head Officials, Directors, Ministers and many others have seemed to be neglected seeing records.
The latest screening committee to be updated for transparency to the public is the 5th Screening Committee meeting and the Disposal of Department wise pending complaints report updated on 31st August 2017 and 18th October 2017 respectively. Although the Government has promised to make the process as transparent as possible but looks quite not to do so. There are missing reports which were previously displayed but removed later for unknown purposes. The New and Report section in detail can be accessed at https://accmanipur.in/frontend/web/index.php?r=site/news-event .
Diving in deeper in most of the complains being registered, the process does appear similar in all Cases. The complainant’s complain is offered to the Expected Culprit directly for an explanation rather than an investigation being set up. In such conditions, the Expected Culprit has all the time to cover up his/her dirty works and reply a descend ‘NO’, which is then sent back to the Complainant as a reply explaining a whole lot of fabricated responses which every Public do not expect from the Anti Corruption Cell.
The Question lies "Can the Public trust the AAC Manipur"
